As part of the OFF Festival of the twenty-first edition of PHotoEspaña, the Alvaro Alcázar Gallery presents, for the first time in Spain, the exhibition Corps de style by French photographer Julien Spiewak. Since 2005 the artist has been developing the Corps de style series in interiors of museums and private collections in France and abroad. Fourteen photographs and twelve studies of this series will be shown. The artist produces an accurate inventory, in detail, where various parts of the body are integrated into the decorations. There exists in the artist’s approach this combination between the project and the realization, between the model and the decoration. In addition, he gives a piece of fantasy to his work to set up a photographic universe of his own.
