Join us for the Summer 2023 Internship Show
We're excited to present a show curated, produced and run by our summer interns. Over the past few months they've learned the ins and outs of putting on an art exhibition and have the chance to show off their new found skills in a professional setting.
‘Whispers of Innocence’ on view from August 5th to August 19th, this exhibition will be the first West Eden Internship Program’s exhibition. Presenting the unbreakable bond between human and nature under Romanticism ideology through Supanooth’s wood sculptures and Thitiyaphon’s flowers paintings. Both artists attempt to illustrate their subconscious memories tied with the natural environment in their suburban hometowns as a reminiscence that they are one with nature and their childhood.
Whispers of Innocence นิทรรศการแรกภายใต้หลักสูตรนักศึกษาฝึกงานของเวสต์ อีเดน จัดแสดงตั้งแต่วันที่ 5 สิงหาคม ถึงวันที่ 19 สิงหาคมนี้ นิทรรศการมุ่งเน้นการนำเสนอแนวคิดศิลปะแบบโรแมนติก (Romanticism) ที่สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความสัมพันธ์ที่ตัดกันไม่ขาดระหว่างมนุษย์และธรรมชาติ โดยนำเสนอผ่านงานประติมากรรมไม้ของศุภนุช และชุดจิตรกรรมดอกไม้บนผ้าใบของธิติยาพร ที่เชื่อมโยงถึงกันด้วยความทรงจำในจิตใต้สำนึกที่พวกเธอมีต่อช่วงเวลาวัยเยาว์ในชนบท เพื่อเป็นสิ่งย้ำเตือนว่าพวกเธอเป็นหนึ่งเดียวกับวัยเด็กและธรรมชาติอยู่เสมอ
