Jittima Sangeamsunthron is a Thai photographer renowned for her black-and-white artistic photography which captures the profound beauty of nature while reflecting the emotional depth of the human experience. Jittima earned her Bachelor’s degree in Photography from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Rangsit University in 1991. For over 35 years, she has used the camera lens as a tool for exploration, capturing ideas, emotions, and the spirit of her subjects. Her work reflects a delicate sensitivity, revealing introspective dimensions that invite quiet contemplation.
Photography is more than an artistic practice for Jittima, it is a transformative force that shapes her perspective and creative approach. Her artistic philosophy centres on capturing aesthetic truths through light, shadow, and abstract compositions, elements at the heart of her evocative imagery.
Jittima has exhibited her work in numerous exhibitions, including Creative Femininity 1992 at Con-tempus, The Bangkok Fine Art Center, Bangkok/Thailand. She has held several solo exhibitions such as Last Shelter 2003 at D-Lab Mini Space and My World 2013 at Numthong Gallery, both in Bangkok/Thailand.
