Tanakrit Polngam’s artworks revolve around the reinterpretation of mythological narratives and folklore which creates a new perspective through the dimension of hypothetical beliefs like ideal animals or divine animals according to religious beliefs. Within Thai society, villagers perceive animals born with deformities not as omens of misfortune but as symbols of hope, auspiciousness, and good fortune. He encourages reflection on how ancient beliefs persist in shaping modern identities and societal norms.
